I understand that aHG provides 'comprehensive' management solutions for underperforming hotels. My particular hotel has problems in sales and it is my belief that 'sales' is my only problem. Why would I need a 'comprehensive' solution when my problem only involves one area of the hotel?
Great question. During the initial consult, we discuss the overall operation of the hotel(s) and ascertain from the owner/manager's standpoint, what issue(s) the property needs addressed. This gives aHG a starting point and helps us to focus in on a strategy that works for the hotel. However, we would simply not be practicing due diligence if we didn’t observe all of the different areas of the hotel. A hotel property can only operate as a finely-tuned machine if it is running on all cylinders. If we come in and fix one problem without addressing potential issues in other areas, there is a strong likelihood that you'll be calling us back. We do not charge based on the scope of services assessed during the initial consultation. With that being said, it is important to note that aHG will 'focus' on the area requested by our client. That is, if sales is the challenge then we will primarily address that area while at the same time, providing guidance in areas that we find to be potentially problematic.
Does the world really need another hotel consulting/management company? What makes AHG any different than the countless other hotel consulting companies out there and why would I hire you?
That’s a fair question! Avant Hotels Group was founded on the belief that if you continue to do things the same way, you are likely going to get the same results. There is no question that the hotel industry has undergone changes of a seismic proportion over the past five to ten years. Therefore, with these changes in conditions comes necessary changes in mindset. We have experienced first-hand not only the adjustments that need to be made to stay relevant in this industry but also the ability to develop strategies that are both focused and flexible. This gives hotel management the ability to stay ahead of the curve and remain successful no matter the obstacle. Unfortunately, many of our peers simply do not think or operate this way.
We have three properties that are in pretty good shape but we just are not getting our fair share of the market. Our guest service scores are excellent and I firmly believe that our sales efforts are excellent. I have tried everything and am at the end of my rope. Can AHG help?
We'd be more than happy to help! There's not one executive at aHG that hasn’t been in the same position you're in right now. Sometimes, it just takes a different set of eyes and a fresh perspective to isolate the problem. Every problem has a solution and our executives take great pride in working with hotel professionals that despite their best efforts, are unable to get their hotel back on track. aHG will develop a plan that not only solves your initial problems but also fortifies current management's fine efforts.
My company owns several 'older' properties, classic that is, that have been performing reasonably well over the past couple of years. However, I'm a seasoned hotel professional and have not done a lot with our internet 'strategy' or lack thereof. I mean, we have WIFI and a website. I just can't help but feel like we can be doing more. Is this something aHG can help us out with?
Robert, I think we can help. I'm sure you understand that a successful e-commerce strategy comes down to a lot more than having a website. You have online reservations, wholesale distribution channel management, online marketing and much more. This can all seem like 'greek' to even the most 'seasoned' hotel manager. aHG executives have an extensive understanding of e-commerce strategy and the enormous impact it can have on a hotel's bottom line. We can devise a comprehensive e-commerce strategy that will work for your business and ensure that you are competing on a level playing ground.

OK, so here it goes. We have two properties in New England that are performing extremely well. Our RevPAR is healthy and our flow-through is off-the-charts. So, you're probably thinking, aHG could probably use a manager like me (joke haha). I'm a perfectionist and I expect nothing less from my staff. Over the past six months, despite our good fortune financially, our guest service scores have dropped significantly. Can aHG help?
First off, yes aHG is always looking for accomplished hotel professionals like yourself (no joke). Secondly, while we applaud your 'good fortune', it is even more impressive when a hotel is performing well financially yet has the good foresight to recognize and be willing to address issues that could very well derail said good fortune. aHG can fully assess the strengths and weaknesses of your current management and personnel structure and develop a strategy that works for you. aHG provides guest service and culture building training programs that have proven to be just the right remedy for situations like this.aHG
My company has a number of properties concentrated in the midwest and all are performing satisfactorily. However, lately I've been thinking a lot about our company and can't help but feel concerned that we are not operating out business in a way that is safe for the environment. I know that companies are actively changing the way they do business for the good of the environment and I want to do the same. Is this something that Avant Hotels Group can help with?
Yes, and just for the record we think it's fantastic that your business feels the same way about the environment as we do. There are many things that you as a hotel operator can do, to ensure that your hotels are operating in an environmentally sound manner. We can provide your company with a flexible strategy that’s in line with your level of commitment. It's not only the 'right' thing to do but there are also financial incentives by way of associated tax credits that may be available to you as well.
